First Package Lessons


PACKAGE A (10 CLASSES)

This becoming May 2011, we will run a package lessons classes for bare-hand. It is very suitable for everybody.



Training modules;


1. Senaman Anak harimau (Stage 1) - 7 basic movements
This is a training of movements to prevent and attack by using a body movement and step. This exercise provides a way to attack and get a maximum impact on target.


2. Blocking Basics (Stage 1) - 7 techniques

This is a training to block off attacking and get a chance to counter-attack by using only simple movements.


3. Combats (Stage 1) - 7 techniques

It is a movement of attacking (buah) to break the opponent attacks.


4. Grappling (Stage 1) - 7 techniques

A counter-attacks by using a grappling the opponent with the intention to capturing them.


5. Escape From Grappling (Stage 1) - 7 techniques

A techniques to escape from grappling.


This package lessons will start at 1st May, 2011 and finish at 3rd July, 2011
(once class a week).

Performance at Belfast March 2011

Silat Seni Gayong Ireland (SSGI) has been invited to make a performance at MSSNI’s Malaysian Night 2011 at Belfast, Northern Ireland. The program was organized by Malaysian Student Society Northern Ireland (MSSNI), Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB). It was unlucky when a lot of members SSGI cannot be participate because they are currently have a semester’s exam and it is too far. However, SSGI did not refuse to join it. Finally, we have 2 members agreed to make the performance. Travelling from Limerick to Belfast it is took almost 5 hours.

MSSNI’s Malaysian Night 2011 has been attended more than 250 peoples. They are students from Queen’s University, Malaysian people who live at Belfast and delegation from Malaysia is a member of the Lembaga Kemajuan Perempuan Islam Malaysia (Board of Malaysian Muslim Women’s Development) with 30 members. The program was started at 7.30pm.

That program has running smoothly and great. We are served with Malaysian food. The menu is POPIAH, NASI LEMAK, NASI KERABU and BUBUR KACANG. It is delicious. He he he. There are a lot of performances at that night. All performances at that night was a presentation about Malaysian culture and of cause it is very special. One of the performances it is from us, Silat Seni Gayong Ireland.
