Launching Of Rakan Muda Dublin

The demonstration on the commence of the launching of rakan muda Dublin by His Excellency The Ambassador of Malaysia Ireland. It was offically launched on 21 Dec 09 in Dublin. Silat Seni Gayong Dublin has been invited to performed a demonstration on that day. It was a last minute preparation because the notification are last minute as well. Present at the venue were Cikgu Radzwan aka Kumbang Hitam and Cikgu Anuar from Gayong Limerick due to the invitation by Taro aka Firdaus from Dublin. It was a glory day for Gayong Dublin especially Ireland, for the past a year the enthusiasm has return and the spirits of Gayong were flowing back in Ireland as the snow started to whiten the blanket at Ireland. We are hoping the glory will glows once again. Syabas anak-anak Gayong Dublin, we given full support to all of you. It was an excellent year end for Gayong Ireland due to the opening of a training centre at Limerick and will be follow by a class at Cork. Carry on lad.. goodwork.. Gayong are strenghtening its wings at Ireland.. May next year should be more glorious... HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

As usual where theres Gayong guys there are definitely activities going on. Things happen so fast that we could not realised it. It has been almost 2 month Gayong Limerick started their training. Its amazing that the class are been surrounding by the Irish and many enquiries are coming in since we started promoting by the net. We are hopping things going as planned and moving towards the edge that we baked.

And we forsee the rapid movements of Gayong classes in Ireland. We have demand to open a class in Athleon, Cork and our Gayong brother at Dublin has taken an afford to activate their training as soon as possible. We hope to come up with a programs next year and share the knowledge of this ancient art with our Malaysian brothers and Irish.

Meeting with Anak Gayong Dublin

On 13 December 2009, a brief meeting between Cikgu Radzwan, Cikgu Anuar and anak-anak Gayong Dublin had been done at Dublin Mosque. We were talking about the future of Silat Gayong Dublin after that incident. There was a happy news when Firdaus (Taro) told us about submitten a new proposal to embassy of Malaysia. Together we pray that everything goes smoothly and will be blessed Allah swt. Hope Silat Gayong in Dublin will come back again.

Taro also told us that Cikgu Saiful Hakim will come to Limerick and arranged a program for all anak-anak Gayong in Ireland including from Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Insya Allah, hope this program will be successfull implemented. To Cikgu Saiful Hakim... you are welcome to Limerick. Maybe we can do something to develop Silat Seni Gayong in Ireland.

Sad Moment

As usual when you watch a movie theres always and ending. This is the sad moment from all the laughing, pain, sweating etc during the seminar. I hope we will meet again in the next gatherings. All of you will always be in our heart although, separated by a continent. Missed you guys hope this sweet memories will be remained forever and will be the best of all. Thanks Laurent...The Food Is Delicious

After all the sweating session.. here comes to full filling back the energy. Thanks to our Gayongs brother.. Laurent.. spending his time just to cooked for all the participant. While chatting we enjoyed the food so much, it was very great and delicious too. It was liked a restaurant treat but better.. gone to missed the food hopping to have different dishes next time... Im counting on you Laurent.. hehe..

Questions And Answers Session

This is the most best part.. questions and answers.. feel like Im in school again with a teacher and student, hehe.. Most of the questions asked are surroundings the adat, the weapons and techniques. Everyone is participating well... sometimes we stopped for a commercial break.. hehe.. and continued, thats part and parcel of the warmed harmonies relationship between all the anak gayong...

Gayong France Seminar

Gurulatih Gayong France Cikgu Shaiful Hakim been shown the correct way to do "Tumbuk Pintal Tali" by Cikgu Radzwan a.k.a Kumbang Hitam. If the correct techniques applied without any force the attacker can flown backwards. This 3 picture shows before and after the punching is performed.


"Tumbuk Pintal Tali" is a first technique which every anak Gayong must master. The movements consist of 3 techniques of punching. Application of the correct technique can generate great energy, speed and accuracy of the movements.

Bunga Tanjung

Flower movement called ''Bunga Tanjung'' were performed gracefully during a training. Most of malay silat have this kind of grace movement with various interpretations. This harmony movement reflect the friendlyness of the malays.

Escape from choking...

Escape from a choking technique. This basic technique were done by moving the body to a different angle or side. A very simple technique without using much energy and very effective.

KERIS.. Malay mystical dagger

Silat Seni Gayong ancient and traditional weapon called KERIS. Kissing a keris is like showing a respect before any keris movements been performed.

Encounter technique

Normally roundhouse kick is used for attacking. In Silat Seni Gayong, we are teach to encounter the attacker without using blocking movements.
